The picture above is just one of the things we witness every weekend as we stand up for New York City's carriage horses. The drivers are either ignorant of horse anatomy or they simply don't care. Witness this driver cruelly pulling on the harsh bit, clearly hurting this horse. We see this every time we are there. For this reason, we have decided to continue Operation: Put a Little Love in Your Heart beyond the Valentine's Day holiday.
Despite all that we have witnessed and documented, they continue to lie, telling everyone that they love their horses and that they take good care of them. If that is the case, why is it that we were able to get this picture?
Win Animal Rights is committed to shutting down this cruel and exploitive business. If this picture disturbs you as much as it does us, please join us on Sunday at the hack line. We need to have a good showing because the more we cost them in business, the more aggressive they become toward us.
