I hope whoever owns this blog knows that The Center for Consumer Freedom/Humanewatch is funded by Monsanto, the meat industry, big pharma and any other corporation whose profits are affected by improving conditions for animals. The Humane Society of the United States has some deep pockets very annoyed with their efforts. Check out Humanewatch.info for the truth about Humanewatch.org.
Humanewatch uses sleazy tactics such as out of context quotes, edited videos and using "straw man" arguments. And outright lying.
This blog is primarily an animal rights news aggregator. We feel it is in the interest of animal advocates to track actions by opposition groups in NYC and post the link in that spirit. We are in no way implying that CCF is a credible source or that we share their opinions.
