This week we have wonderful and very interesting guests who will share who they are and how they use intuition and creativity in their lives. And I also have the pleasure of having David Giardina join us again. As we get close to June 2011, David and I are preparing to do our very first music show together and we'll continue to share the wonderful details with you! I've had the pleasure of having David join me on several shows. He is a actor, vocalist, writer, producer and a highly intuitive person. He will share more on his music, life and projects, including a upcoming singing performance we will do together in June of 2011.

About This Show:

It is always the goal of Working Things Out to inspire intuitive action for a life full of joy, meaning and abundance. When we feature our guests, we spotlight their life's work as a way of seeing others shine their light and a reminder that we ALL have light within us ready be shine forth. We want to remind you that no matter what's going on in your life...you are NEVER alone.

This special meeting and broadcast is for anyone interested in coming in, being my guest on the Working Things Out Radio show, speaking on ways we can use celebrations, events and other positive ways of advocating animal rescue and rescuers is welcome.

You will come to the restaurant where we broadcast LIVE at 6pm to the world at about 5:30pm. Confirm by saying you are coming to this meet up and what you want to share regarding ideas about animal rescue.

This is a restaurant so we will keep the conversation light, positive and optimistic. So please keep that in mind. This is to celebrate rescuers, animal companions, ideas for healthy living and of course INTUITION!

Welcome to Defend Animals NYC, the One-Stop Source for Animal Activism info in the Big Apple

NYC is blessed with many, many animal advocacy groups.  Unfortunately, this makes it very hard to keep track of everything going on.  Defend Animals NYC is intended to solve this problem.  On this site, you'll find a calendar of animal activism events in NYC, a directory of animal advocacy groups, and a newswire blog with issue updates, action alerts, protest reports (including photos and videos), news coverage of animal activism, and more.  For the animal rights supporter, this website provides an alternative to subscribing to dozens of email lists, Meetups, and Facebook groups just to find out where this weekend's fur protest or vegan leafleting will be taking place or to find a group working on a particular issue.  For organizers, to make it easier to avoid organizing conflicting events. Organizers can check the calendar before planning an events and use the directory to find potential collaborators.  For the media, the newswire and calendar will make it easier to keep track of what's happening in the animal movement locally, and the directory will make it easier to contact groups when they find a potentially newsworthy story on the calendar or newswire.

Defend Animals NYC is part of a greater effort to increase collaboration between the disparate elements of the local animal advocacy movement in order to build a stronger and more united movement.  We'll be launching a number of other unity building projects throughout 2011 and you'll hear about them first on this blog.
